Karmojibi Nari
Karmojibi Nari (KN) started its journey on 1st of May, the International Labour day, in 1991. KN is still marching for its quest of women’s rights and equal dignity. Over the years KN was successful in bringing formal and informal sectors workers especially the women workers under its organized forum. KN helped to strengthen their leadership capacity. The organization used advocacy strategies with concerned authorities to harmonize the existing regulations, amend and/or enact new rules. It takes active roles in effective implementation of the laws for the wellbeing of workers. KN’s current projects are funded by European Union, Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), International Labor Organization, South Asia Women’s Fund and supported by International Women’s Rights Action Watch Asia Pacific etc. KN is privileged with supports from Practical Action, GIZ, Manusher Jonnyo Foundation (MJF), Action Aid Bangladesh and many other reputed organizations.
AMPS facilitated conduction of a-three-day National Training-of-the-Trainers (TOT) Workshop for the sectoral Trade Union (STU) Leaders on Financial Management, HR Management, Documentation and Fundraising.
