Dr. Md. Omar Ali has a Ph. D. in Agronomy with specialization in Cropping Systems and Production Agronomy (Conservation Agriculture). Currently he is holding the position of Principal Scientific Officer (Agronomy) at Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI). Dr. Ali is basically a researcher engaged in development of improved production techniques of different crops under different cropping systems and changing climate. Dr. Ali has, to his name, more than a hundred and fifty publications booklets and articles in many national and international journals and magazines.
